Yet another flick, another good documentary. This one is about Muscle Shoals, appropriately titled Muscle Shoals. You'll be sucked in, and if you don't know what's special about Rick Hall, you will. The songs at the bottom, all produced by him. He pretty much made the Muscle Shoals sound.

Those cats were incredible. I think its first hit was Joe Tex's "Hold What You've Got" (1964).
I mean, they could even make the Osmonds sound great. {Play the subterfuge game by including "One Bad Apple" on a mix, but don't identify the act.}
Culminating - Bob Seger had been releasing good records and getting spotty airplay for years, but when he turned up at Muscle Shoals, the LP that resulted was 'Night Moves' which finally broke him through.
