LOCK DOWN THEATER NIGHT 46

I'm not really sure how many of you are into Latin music, but if you are, you no doubt know that Johnny Pacheco passed away two days ago. He was a co-founder and musical director of Fania Records and he put together the Fania All-Stars, the supergroup that had something like forty revolving members, including a shitload of Latin superstars. Fania was huge in tn Latin music.

I wasn't able to find any mp3s of Pacheco, but I did find the film Our Latin Thing (Nuestra Cosa Latina) a documentary, I think, about the seventies Latin scene in NYC, which was pretty much ground zero in the U.S. Lots of good live footage. There's a few songs down there too, not Pacheco but some of his fellow Fania artists.
