IT'S FAT TUESDAY SOMEWHERE.

Yikes, with a little less urgency than normal. Normally there'd be at least a couple exclamation points involved, but this being a covid year, plain wrap yikes is enough. I realized today that Fat Tuesday is tomorrow and I haven't posted a lick of New Orleans music. There's the yikes. But there's a lack of urgency. Alas, the parades are off, and I don't know about bars and parties but my guess is that they're at least being discouraged. So what do you do the final night of Mardis Gras when you can't get out? Grab a bottle and click all over the place until you pass out and do a face plant on your keyboard. Or not.

Here's a few random New Orleans cuts and links to four posts at Time Goes Buy with a shitload of New Orleans music, all eras, all styles.
