You people that really get into Halloween might already be on the party train. Some of you may be doing it big tomorrow night. Either way, here's the traditional annual posting of the infamous Bloody Halloween mixes, posted by the late great Spread the Good Word. To make a very long story short, Reverend Tom Frost, the host of said blog, stopped posting regularly a few years ago, but true to his word, he's left his mixes up, now hosted at MixCloud. They're not available as downloads as they were when originally posted, but you resourceful types will either figure out a workaround or just blast them from you fancy phone plugged into something loud. Twenty mixes, that's enough to keep that party going all weekend.
When Frost stopped updating his blog, it was to concentrate on his own music which, believe me, is worth checking out. Top notch South of Hellabilly. Just listen to "Malaguena" (mp3 near the bottom below) and see if you can just go about your business. Get your goosebumps on.
