This is a weird one. Good, but a little overcooked. It's a DJ created mix, with an excellent song selection. The selector, one Tek A Dee, is an overactive sonofabitch. Maybe that's how it's done, but sheesh. I can see just playing partial songs, after all, there are 48 songs packed into one hour, something's got to give. But man, this one goes sound bite crazy, heavy on JB screams, and Austin Powers. What the hell is that? It can be annoying, particularly if you're a purist. But I've got to hand it to him, it is an excellent song selection. I'm not going to cut and paste the song list, check it out here. If you don't have much reggae, this is a perfect way to introduce yourself to a lot of stuff in just an hour. The sound bites seem to lessen as you get further into it. Maybe I'm being too harsh. I'm starting to like the mood this mix is getting me into. I'm lightening up. That's probably the desired effect. Tricked again.
Note: It's hosted on Soundcloud. The "download" link is the small button, next to the "share" button, under the comment thing. If you go to the post to hear it, the download link is the small downward pointing arrow on the streaming bar. And, again, the song list is here.
