Monty Norman died. I know, me neither. He wrote the "James Bond Theme". I have to give him props. Even if it was the only thing he'd ever written, the song has logged an inordinate amount of spins over here, due in no small part to the fact that there are so many varied covers and, really, it's kind of a hard song to fuck up.
