About a half hour ago, I was watching The Last Man On Earth (a great show by the way), and the Kinks' "Till the End of the Day" played during a scene. Everything stopped. Reminded of its awesomesness, I needed to listen to it, and did. Again and again. So, I'll dutifully pass that reminder of its awesomeness on. Eat this, loud.

Oh shit E. let me give another reason to hate me. Back in 1977 or '78 a good friend of mine was the VP of the US Kinks fan club, and his girlfriend the President. They took me to the Kinks show in L.A. and afterwards we got to go to the Kink's hotel to chew the fat with them. Ray Davies was by far the most engaged. Super cool and not at all bothered by the presence of a scrappy rat.
