(SLIGHT RETURN)

They grow up and die so fast, don't they? Hendrix was just twenty seven when he died. If he were alive, he'd be seventy one. Just think of the wild shit he could have done. This is just a heads up about an upcoming PBS special that's on Tuesday night, a new one, Jimi Hendrix - Hear My Train a Comin'. A two hour documentary with unseen footage and what not. If you don't get PBS where you're at, it's being released as DVD.  Either way, here's some Hendrix stuff, bar pretzels really, but interesting to hear.  Heavy on the oddballs. Stevie Wonder on drums? Yes, and on another, backing Jayne Mansfield.

Hendrix, backing Buddy and Stacy, 1965. Check him out on the far left, doing his over the top thing at 1:48

*Note: General download advice: Some of these involve a few hoops to download. Most file hosting sites try to make it seem like you have to join, but know this: if there's a link posted here, there's an option to download it for free. Just be careful. Look for the misleading links, buttons and checked boxes (un-check them, unless you need another toolbar).. You probably know the drill, but just a reminder.
