It's that time again. Time to catch up on Rock 'n' Soul Ichiban's Tassel Twirler Tuesdays. By now, you may have noticed a fondness of these late fifties and early sixties instrumentals, known to many as "tittyshakers." Though the term is widely used, I've decided to retire it as a tag for these posts, replacing it with the equally descriptive but less monster truck-ish term "strip tease instrumental." All of you sweaty pigs can cry foul if you want. The way I figure it, if Rock 'n' Soul Ichiban, the host of quite a few of these gems, has made it a point not to use the term in question, the least I can do is fall into line with their unwritten style guide. Do not weep. Kogar is still an ape, and he still swings. That has not changed.
