"Summertime Blues". You've heard it a million times. "Ho-hum" you think. Well fuck you. I've heard it a zillion times and I heard it today and was reminded what an awesome piece of work it is. Eddie Cochran was barely in his twenties when he recorded it. The kid was a genius. Here's a few of his, and other people covering him. Plus a really good appreciation by Binky Phillips.
