This is a good one. A collection of sixties rock en Español. Actually, there's an instrumental or two and at least one sung in English, but it's all stuff from Mexico and Latin America. Maybe Spain too, I don't know. I'm guessing here. The title of the mix is Latin American Nuggets, but the zip file that contains it is titled Mexican Nuggets, and when you unzip it, the file info says Los Nuggets. Who gives a shit? Their foreign and raw, some covers, some fuzz, some Bond-eslque guitar tones. Thirty four of them. All in a language that you may not understand. Take solace in "Tijuana Sun" by the Famous Finks. It's in English, so you can enjoy the tweaked lyrics. But, shit, you need to check out Los Sirex's "El Tren de la Costa" (a cover of "Train Kept A Rollin'"). It's one of those songs that sounds relatively tame at the beginning, but then the whole house falls down. Frantic vocals in the red, seriously tweaked solos, weird mix, the whole package. And that's just one of 34 songs. Dig it!
