It's been a while since I've been in New Orleans, so I don't remember how it works on the last few days of Mardi Gras. My guess is that that true locals, those into the heritage and the music, pace themselves, go to parades here and there, and then on Fat Tuesday may hoist an extra drink or two. They're not the ones getting totally wasted. The real obnoxious party 'til you puke types are the tourists and younger people that are always looking for an excuse to get fucked up. So I don't know if everybody pauses after the weekend and then goes full bore into Tuesday as a last hurrah, or if Sunday and Monday are party nights too. Whatever. Here's a mish mash of more New Orleans music, that you can use for whatever hi-jinks the next few days bring, or you can be like everybody else and just dig the music of the one city in the United States that truly has its own sound.
