The proprietor of the mobile record shack, Swing A Ling, has passed away. Charlie Ace (real name Valden Dixon) had a simple idea, bring reggae music to the people in the ghetto, so he converted a car into a mobile record shack. If you're into reggae, you've probably seen photos of his getup a zillion times. Per square foot, it's probably the most famous record store ever. And it was a fantastic idea, it's amazing that more people didn't copy it. (Jack White did, with his fancy-ass Third Man Records record truck. Link below.)
