TONIGHT! ONE NIGHT ONLY!

If you're into Drive Like Jehu, this will jack you up. That is, if you're within a few hours of San Diego. The band hasn't played in nineteen years (already?), but are reuniting for a one off performance with pipe organist Carol Williams, San Diego's official Civic Organist (yes, there is one), at the Spreckels Organ Pavilion in Balboa Park. It starts at 7:00 PM and will undoubtably be a mob scene, so plan accordingly.

The pipe organ is behemoth, one of the largest outdoor pipe organs in the world. The thing has 4,530 pipes, Having been to regular organ performances there (free every Sunday, sans rock band), I can tell you, the organ alone is worth hearing. Putting it together with Jehu is probably going to be quite a racket. Be forewarned, traffic and parking will suck.

This just in: The show may be streamed live at UStream. If not, it may be archived later. If nothing else, you can check a regular Sunday performance which are archived there. (Click here fool.)
